Hinton Street Lofts

The Hinton Street Lofts will be the result of the renovation of the industrial site at 225 Hinton Street, converting it into one and two bedroom luxury apartment homes. The project is designed to accent the historic character of the building while providing luxury apartments to downtown Petersburg, Virginia.

FACTS

NATURAL LIGHT & VENTILATION

We will install a combination of more than 300 windows, skylights, and light wells in the building. NOT ONE of the apartments will be without an exterior working window or working skylight.

LUXURY MARKET RATE COMMUNITY

We have agreed to include a zoning condition that PROHIBITS us by law, or any future owner of the Hinton Street Lofts, from accepting Section 8 or any other subsidized tenants.

Our apartment homes will feature the finest in-home amenities that include:granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, large windows and the adaptive reuse of historic structures within the city.

HISTORIC PRESERVATION

We have agreed to include a zoning condition that REQUIRES us to develop the community in accordance with the requirements of the Department of the Interior Standards for Rehabilitation as administered by the National Park Service and Virginia's Department of Historic Resources.
